Michael Yellin, Ph D – Hebrew High
Michael Yellin lives in Merrimack, NH with his wonderful wife, Debi, and his two free-spirited daughters, Tzipora (10) and Zosia (6). After graduating from Brighton High School in Rochester, NY (a place even snowier than southern New Hampshire), he earned a BA in English from Haverford College, an MA in English from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Ph.D. in English from Lehigh University. He has been teaching at the college level for 14 years. His scholarly work has focused on relationships between African-American and Jewish-American writers. Michael says that his own Hebrew school education taught him how to discuss current events and intellectual topics, and he hopes to teach this skill to his students.
